Welcome to the West Virginia Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) Web site. This service is provided to acquaint the disability community, service providers, and the public with the Council, which seeks to provide leadership to a statewide movement to empower people with disabilities. The SILC conducts a variety of activities and provides support and assistance to centers for independent living in developing the advocacy skills and interests of West Virginians with disabilities.

This Web site will provide you with details on the SILC and our activities as well as linking you to information about our partners and other Web sites that you may wish to visit.
